The liquid level sensor is a pressure sensor for measuring liquid level. It is characterized by small body, relatively light net weight and high accuracy. It is widely used in many industries such as water conservancy engineering, geology, and chemical plants. The liquid level sensor relies on the close combination of plane technology and three-dimensional production and processing. The image volume blood pressure device, water velocity meter and barometer are widely used and have high cost performance. So, what sensing technology is the focus of scientific research at this stage?
Due to production or storage needs, various types of storage tanks are required in petrochemical and national defense departments for storing various flammable and explosive chemical liquid raw materials. Based on safety considerations, the liquid level of these storage tanks is required to be detected in real time. The detected instruments need to have high measurement accuracy and the function of remote transmission of liquid level signals, and the measuring instruments are required to be intrinsically safe and explosion-proof. Optical fiber liquid level meters can well complete these requirements. Such controllers have wide frequency, high sensitivity and anti-electromagnetic interference. The application of advanced technology of optical fiber transmission can well realize the function of remote display and alarm of the measured liquid level signal. Taking the UQG-T type optical fiber liquid level sensor as an example, it adopts an isolated modular structure and is suitable for general atmospheric storage tanks and pressure storage tanks. The medium pressure of the pressure storage tank is isolated by a guide rod. The liquid level signal is sent out through a floating ball sleeved on the guide rod. The floating ball is equipped with a magnetic object and is transmitted to the coupling head in the guide rod through magnetic coupling, and then transmitted to the optical sensor through a steel wire rope to realize liquid level detection.
